One of the key factors influencing the pricing is that while our coffee beans are sourced from various regions globally, our two dedicated roasters are currently based in California and Chicago. Shipping coffee internationally is also complex process that involves navigating a maze of regulations whilst ensuring the utmost care in handling coffee that is shipped out to you. As a result, international shipping to Canada becomes an expensive endeavor, and we must take into account additional costs to deliver our delicious coffee to your doorstep. The USD to CAD exchange rate also influences the prices of our coffee significantly for Canadians, which we recognize isn't fair to you.
We genuinely appreciate your patience and continued support during this time of transition. We are diligently working on a solution to improve accessibility and affordability for our Canadian customers. Currently, we are in talks with a few roasters in Canada who will collaborate with us in creating a dedicated Canadian line of specialty coffee. This exciting collaboration will not only help reduce shipping costs but also ensure that the prices of our beans will be uniquely Canadian, making the overall experience more a lot more budget-friendly.
We would, however, like to clarify that shipping to Canada for the majority of our coffee tools & supplies is free! We always aim to provide you with the best experience possible, and wherever possible, we will do our best to inform you within the actual product description if the item carries an additional shipping charge when shipping to Canada. Transparency is of utmost importance to us, and we want to ensure that you have all the necessary information before making a purchase.
