1. Where do you source your coffee beans from?

These beans are the result of the hard work and dedication of extremely talented coffee farmers who have a passion for growing and harvesting outstanding coffee. At The Coffee Goat, we work with 2 roasters to curate a selection of exceptional coffee beans from a diverse range of origins across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Our beans originate from distinct coffee-growing landscapes in renowned coffee-growing countries such as Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, México, Ethiopia, Bali, Brazil, and more. Each origin imparts its unique characteristics to the beans, resulting in a wide range of flavors and profiles. Above all else, our roasteries prioritize quality and craftsmanship, and they work hard to bring out the unique flavors and characteristics of each bean. We're proud to partner with them to bring you the best coffee from around the world. 

 2. Are your coffee beans ethically sourced and/or fair trade certified?

Yes, our coffee beans are both ethically sourced and fair trade certified. We believe in promoting sustainability and ensuring that the farmers who cultivate the beans receive fair compensation for their labor. By prioritizing sustainability and ethical sourcing, we support the efforts of these remarkable growers and contribute to a more responsible coffee industry. You can enjoy a cup of our coffee knowing that it supports a better livelihood for coffee farmers and contributes to a more equitable coffee industry. 3. What types of coffee do you offer?

We take pride in offering a diverse selection of coffees to cater to every taste preference. Our range includes a variety of single-origin beans, carefully crafted coffee blends (known as our Designer Blends), as well as cold brew, decaf, half-caff, and even a Whiskey barrel-aged coffee. You'll find everything from light and fruity to rich, chocolatey, and bold profiles. We will also introduce limited edition and seasonal coffees to provide you with exciting new flavors and experiences, so be sure to check our website regularly to discover our latest offerings.

4. How do I make the perfect cup of coffee with your beans?

Ultimately, we believe that the perfect cup of coffee is subjective and can therefore be enjoyed and prepared in various ways, depending on your brewing and taste preferences. Our beans are versatile and can be used with different equipment such as a French press, pour-over, espresso machines, moka pots, siphon pour over, Chemex coffee makers, traditional drip coffee makers, and whatever other type of coffee maker you can get your hands on. Each method provides a unique flavor profile, allowing you to find your preferred brewing style. 5. What is the difference between light, medium, and dark roast?

The roasting process plays a crucial role in the flavor and characteristics of coffee. Light roast beans are generally more acidic and have a bright, delicate taste. Medium roast beans strike a balance between acidity and richness, offering a well-rounded flavor profile. Dark roast beans are bold and full-bodied, with pronounced caramelized notes. 6. How do I store my coffee beans to ensure freshness?

Proper storage is key to maintaining the freshness and flavor of your coffee beans. To ensure your beans stay at their best, we recommend storing them in an airtight, opaque container in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong odors. 7. Are your products gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan?

Yes, indeed! The only product we currently offer for consumption is 100% coffee, which is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan.

8. Do you offer any flavored coffees?

At The Coffee Goat, we have chosen not to stock flavored coffees in our shop. We believe in celebrating the natural flavors and characteristics of coffee beans themselves. That said, if there was a strong demand for flavored options from our valued customers, we may consider expanding our range in the future, but as of now, it is highly unlikely. Don't get us wrong, we appreciate a good flavor shot from time to time, but adding flavor directly to the beans can negatively affect your grinder and cause complications. This is part of why we would prefer to encourage you to experiment with adding flavors to your brewed coffee after extraction, rather than to purchase a flavored bean. Just our opinion. :)

9. What is your Shipping Policy?

We offer free shipping within the USA and always strive to make your coffee journey as smooth as possible! Our shipping policies are designed to ensure timely delivery of your favorite coffee and products. For delivery times, and any additional details, please visit our dedicated Shipping Policy page.

10. How long do most items take to ship?

We understand the anticipation of receiving your orders, so we aim to get your items out to you as soon as possible. Shipping times may vary depending on the specific product and supplier, as we source our products from multiple partners to offer you a diverse selection. On average, shipping times range from 4 to 9 business days, but can be up to 14 business days for certain items. If any products are experiencing even longer-than-usual shipping times, we will provide relevant information on the respective product page to keep you informed. 11. What forms of payment do you accept?

We offer a variety of convenient payment options to make your shopping experience seamless. Currently, we accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also support digital payment methods such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay. We are actively working to integrate Afterpay and PayPal as payment options in the near future, so hang tight!

12. Do you offer any discounts for bulk coffee purchases?

Absolutely! We value our loyal customers and definitelty offer discounts for bulk coffee purchases. If you are interested in purchasing coffee in larger quantities for your cafe or other business purposes, please reach out to us at wholesale@thecoffeegoat.com, and our team will be delighted to discuss our wholesale program with you.

13. Can I buy your coffee in stores, or only online?

Currently, The Coffee Goat is exclusively an online coffee and coffee supplies shop. This allows us to provide convenient and efficient service right from the comfort of your own home with free shipping within the USA! While we adore the charming ambiance of traditional coffee shops, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee and excellent customer service virtually, through our online platform.

14. What is your Returns, Exchanges, & Refunds Policy?

Obviously our goal is to ensure that you have a positive shopping experience with us and we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase from The Coffee Goat.
